At the Renaissance Faire; A Sword Called Meow Meow
To right a wronged man, To give back his lands, To make him an earl, King's nephew borrows King's sword And for a moment, an instant Appears to offer the sword as well. King cries out in shock: "He almost gave him Meow Meow!"
Last Saturday we went to our local renaissance faire. This was one of the funniest moments of the day. It's not exactly the most serious of ren faires, I suppose, heheh. It's somewhere between renaissance re-enactment and improv comedy! The members of the little village they set up every year often crack jokes and such. When we were watching the battle chess match on Saturday, a pair of pieces dueling with swords even went so far as to quote The Princess Bride with the "I know something you don't know. I am not left handed!" sequence. :D
